I want to create a field in Create Issue screen to allow for autocomplete or list of names

I have the Client Name field in my Create Issue form. I want to either:

• Auto complete from name I used before, or
• Have a drop down list to select a name from.

What type of project are you using? Get that information from the Type column on the View All Projects page.

You can create a Selection List/Dropdown field an provide a list of values from which a value can be selected.

You said "Auto complete from name I used before". Have you already entered the information in another field on the issue? Where have you used the name "before" in Jira?
