I want to Delete an issue type. But I don't have alternative issue type for it.

After calling rest API "Get alternative issue type" for a particular issue type with its "id" empty list([ ]) is coming as an output.

When I delete that issue type I don't have a alternative issue type to replace that for my issues. Any suggestions would be appreciable.

you need to move all your existing issues associated to that type to another one before removing the issue type itself.
