Requirement: Time Spent by Product Initiatives.
My org has a list of Product Initiatives (PI) and Bets for H2. The Bets are nothing but Epics. Each product stream has Epics in their respective Jira project boards and the Product Initiatives are logged as PI type tickets in another (you could say a universal) project board. These Epics are linked to one Product Initiative using the Parent field.
We have asked our team members to log the efforts in the Time Spent field (within the Work Log) on each Epic in their respective Jira boards. I would like to see a sum of the Time Spent from the Epics in various Jira project boards rolled up to the parent Product Initiative.
I am using a Jira Cloud, and not looking for any paid plugins, I am looking to implement rules in Jira Automation but confused how it works across multiple project boards.
