I see user names replaced with userIDs when I export the issues to .csv .

I am using jira cloud.

When i export issues to .csv, I see user IDs instead of user names. How do I find the mapping of user IDs to user names.

I find it difficult to do sprint planning and time allotment with user IDs that are not understandable.

Thanks/asha

Hi @Asha ,

I guess Atlassian restricted the export of user names due to GDPR. But in my opinion, it is meaningless not allowing exporting user names that I am already allowed to see inside the web page. The only way seems to use below Jira rest api. You should parse the json api response, create user ID --> user name mapping and then import it into your excel.

Hi,

I see that some names are shown and for some the user IDs are shown.  The users were created at different times and the users created later are shown up in the .csv files.

Why is this handled differently?
