I see closed issues in scrum backlog view - using cloud

Hi, for some reason I see issues in statusCategory closed,  in scrum board backlog view. I'm using JIRA on cloud. how can I hide these issues from the backlog view (I do want to see it in active sprint view so don't want to change the entire filter)?

When you close the issues, what status do you consider "closed"?  Are those status all in the rightmost column on the board?

I ask because "rightmost column" is the way Jira recognises "done" (and hence not in the backlog).  The status category is not used for this.

yes, all are at the rightmost column.

Could you show us the details of one of the issues that is showing in the backlog (not comments, history etc and feel free to obscure the text if any of it is sensitive, we're looking at the structure - sprint field, status, resolution, just the basics)

Hello,

If you do not want to change the filter, then you should set the resolution field for all closed issues.

Thanks, but, there is a resolution defined for the closed issues. is there any special configuration?
