I purchased JIRA Software server for $10. But unable to log in though I have got the license key.

I have installed JIRA software into my system. I have then purchased JIRA for $10. But I am not able to log in. The error while I proceed after updating the license key is 'Username/password is incorrect'. Even after resetting the password several times, I get the same error. Please suggest how can I log in as admin in JIRA with the new license key?

Hi Kirti,

On a local Jira Installation there are a couple user directory deployment methods, so there are a few approaches when you get locked out.

If you're using an external user management integration, modify the password on the external management system.

if your using the local user management, or have integrated with external user management LDAP and the external login is failing, check out the following KB article which gives steps on recovering the Local Admin account to force update the password and log in to make changes to the user management integration from the local account:
