I only want to see automations in the actions that are relevant to the issue

I have created 2 automation rules.

test 1

test 2

With both a condition, if field A filled (test 1) and if field A is empty (test 2).

But I see both automations in the action button. I only want to see the one relavant.

@Bianca de Weerd  Hi,

In Jira, automation rules cannot be shown or hidden in the Actions (Automation) menu based on issue field conditions. Even if you create two rules with conditions like “Field A is filled” and “Field A is empty,” both rules will still appear in the action button. This is because Jira checks the conditions only after the automation is triggered, not before displaying it in the UI. Currently, there is no way to make only the relevant automation visible. The recommended approach is to use a single automation rule and handle both scenarios using an If / Else block inside the rule, which is the intended behavior in Atlassian.

If this is not possible. Is there a possibility to create a notification in the issue when the wrong automation rule is hit?
