Hello @Style It Padi ,

Good day! Thank you :)

All Jira instances have been reactivated on the Free Plan. The team has also reactivated the marketplace free app which was deactivated along with Jira parent.

Kindly note that both Jira and Confluence, on a Free plan will be deactivated after 40 days of inactivity. To prevent your site from being deactivated, just log in and view any work item—that’ll count as activity and reset the 40-day clock .

Furthermore, Activity includes things like opening a dashboard, checking a report, viewing a work item, or going to the admin settings. For example, if you open a project board to check on tasks, that counts as activity.

More information can be found on this page: What is the Free Jira Cloud plan?

Thank you

Hi @Style It Padi,

I am so sorry to hear you’re having trouble accessing your data. I know how important this information is to your team, and I want to help you get some clarity on what’s happening.

Because this involves your specific account, site history, and communications involving private data, we need to move this to a secure environment where our Customer Advocate team can investigate.

Please take these steps now:

A note on our Free plan policy:
To ensure we’re providing the best experience for active teams, Atlassian has a policy for deactivated sites, see more details here.

  • We typically send several email warnings to the site administrators before this happens.

  • Once a site is deleted due to inactivity, the data is generally not recoverable.

However, our Customer Advocates can look into your specific account to see if the site was deactivated for a different reason or if there is any path forward for recovery. Please reach out to them via the link above so they can give you a definitive answer based on your site’s history.

Best,

Anastasiia

Hello @Style It Padi

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What was the reason given for deactivation? If it was a billing issue you can contact the Billing support team through this page:

https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/

I see that somebody else in this forum has flagged your post here to raise it to the attention of Atlassian team members. That generally gets a response within two business days.

Thank you so much.  It was due to inactivity.  I have valuable asset that needs to be retrieved.  Jira Deactivation.png
