Hi There,
Hope you all are doing well!
I need to check how much storage is available in JIRA and Confluence. Please suggest how we can check this.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Dvipa
Hello @Kumari Dvipa
Refer to this documentation and let us know if that answers your questions about monitoring your storage use.
Hello @Trudy Claspill I have reviewed this document but was unable to find the option mentioned for viewing the available storage.
Thank you!

Are you an Organization Admin for your Atlassian Cloud Organization?
What User Management experience is applied to your Atlassian Cloud Organization?
At what point in the directions in the document are you not getting the results described?
I am an Organization Admin for my Organization, and I have only Free product subscriptions. Centralized User Management is applied to my Organization, and I can find the options for viewing storage. I say that to confirm that being able to see the options is not dependent on the type of subscription plan you have. But it may be available only to Organization Admins.

Hello @Kumari Dvipa (cc: @Zack Kev )
If the product is truly on the Premium plan can view the amount of storage used following the guidance in the document link I provided in my response. This information will be accessible to Organization Admins, Site Admins, and Product Admins. It is true that remaining space will not be shown for products under a Premium plan as in that plan the storage is unlimited. Here is an example of what can be seen for a site where Jira, JSM, JPD, and Confluence are all using Premium subscriptions.
The limit that Zack mentioned (seen at Jira Admin Settings > System > Attachments) is the size limit for individual attachments that get uploaded.
And for clarity, in Confluence Cloud that setting is found under Confluence Administration > Configuration > General configuration > Attachments.
There is no limit on the total number of attachments that can be uploaded per product.
In Jira there is a limit to the total number of attachments for individual work items, and that limit is 2000.

Storage limits are primarily defined by your Atlassian Cloud Subscription Plan and are checked via the administrative settings.
Steps To Fix:
Access Admin: Go to your Atlassian Administration interface.
Check Billing: Navigate to Billing → Subscriptions.
View Plan: Select your product (Jira or Confluence). The page will display your current plan (e.g., Free, Standard, Premium) and the associated Storage Limit. Free plans have a hard limit (e.g., 2GB), while Standard/Premium plans often provide Unlimited Storage.

Hello @Kumari Dvipa
In addition to what others have said @Kumari Dvipa your question is tagged as relating to Jira Cloud on the Premium plan.
Since the Premium plan provides unlimited storage, the answer to your question "how much storage is available in JIRA and Confluence" is... unlimited storage.

If you’re using the Cloud version of Jira and Confluence, there isn’t a place to see “how much storage is left” because Atlassian manages that for you. You only manage things like attachment limits, not total storage.
If you're on Data Center or Server, the apps don’t show remaining storage inside the UI. You have to check it directly on the server where they’re installed, the same way you would check normal disk space. So the first step is knowing whether you're on Cloud or Server. That decides where you check.

Hello @Zack Kev
Did you review the reference document I mentioned in my response? It provides guidance on how to lookup how much storage has been consumed and how much remains.

Hi @Zack Kev I am using Cloud version. Got your point. Is there any way to see attachment limit?
Thank you!

@Kumari Dvipa in Cloud you can’t view a remaining attachment quota, but you can check the upload size limit. Go to Admin → System → Attachments in Jira or Confluence and it will show the maximum file size allowed for your plan. That’s the only attachment limit Cloud exposes.
