I'm attempting to bulk edit issues from a classic project. These are sub-task typed issues. I want to assign them as ordinary tasks into a next-gen project. I'm being blocked by a "No Matches" drop-down item, where I expect it to have "Task" listed among the choices. I should be able to flatten out sub-tasks into tasks, during such an edit. Is there any way to do it, that I just don't know about yet?
Because otherwise my only recourse is to delete all of these sub-tasks, so that, in the end, I'm finally able to move *all* of the issues from the classic project to the next-gen project (this sub-tasks bit is completely blocking me from doing that).

You should convert you sub-tasks to tasks first in the classic project and then move these tasks to the next-gen project.

Alexey, I thought I was asking precisely about converting in the classic project, ahead of moving to the next-gen project. In other words, am I not already performing the procedure that you suggest, and am I not blocked from changing the issue type (purely within the classic project!) because of the lack of items in the drop-down?

If you open an issue in the detail issue view, there must an option Convert to Issue
