Hi all,

I need simple script listener for copying a system field value to a custom field when ever a new issue is created in Jira cloud.

I'm not familiar with Jira Cloud.

Can someone please help with this ASAP.

Hi @Sai Gangadhar ,

Jira automation can be used for this requirement. An automation rule can be triggered by "issue created" and perform several actions (eg. edit issue --> copy value to special field). See an example in the screenshot:
