I have integrated slack to my project but am unable to access Slack from issue

I have integrated slack to my project but cannot access the slack link from within an issue. Getting the following message.

"Configuration Required. Please contact your Jira & Slack admins"

I have linked the project to Slack.

I have set up a room in Slack and it is connected and I am receiving notifications.

Just in case, have you checked this document that describes the steps to integrate Slack with Jira?:

If you can't access the link to the Jira issue in Slack, you may need this:

Note: To unfurl a Jira issue with an issue key (e.g. DEV-36) in a Slack channel, the channel must be connected to the relevant project (e.g. DEV) via /jira connect.

Thanks for responding. From what I gathered, I needed a two-way tool, so I installed Jira Integration + Issue to Channel.
