Hi community,
I have added 230 attachments to a work item, but I am not able to see them properly in Jira.
Can you please suggest any add-on name that supports viewing and managing large numbers of attachments?
Thank you!
my team and I are working on an App to do exactly that. It is called Better Attachments for Jira and is designed to work with tens of thousands of work items and attachments.
It provides a practical table that allows for searching, sorting and filtering. You can also flag, label, download and delete attachments (in bulk!).
We also show the table directly on the workitem.
Best regards,
Martin
@Martin Johann Thanks

Jira is not really designed for document storage, and since you are on a free plan (according to your tags) you will pretty soon max out your storage of 2GB. In general i would avoid storing large number of attachments in Jira since it is quite complex to manage and clean-up over time.
With that said:
If you need a app for better managing of attachments this might be a good alternative:
Smart Attachments for Jira (File & Document Management) | Atlassian Marketplace
Another option is to store your attachments outside Jira and use an app to make them available in Jira
ikuTeam Files for Jira | Atlassian Marketplace
(for disclosure, I am not associated with any of these app vendors)
I hope this gives you some options to explore further

Thank you for recommending Smart Attachments 🙏
@Sharad Dadarao Chate , if you need to walk you through a quick live demo to understand whether Smart Attachments suits your needs, feel free to book a meeting.

Hello @Sharad Dadarao Chate
If you don't mind sharing, why are you doing this? What outcome are you trying to achieve?
Just over a week ago, in this thread, you said you were a 'Jira Cloud Admin' and wanted advice on best practices to avoid degrading the performance of Jira, then a few days later in this thread, you said you had attached 70 items to a single Work Item and you were advised that's not a good idea... now you've attached almost quadruple as many items to a single Work Item and you're asking for more advice on what's going wrong!
You seem to ask for advice, then ignore it and go about creating the very outcome that you were trying to avoid. It's just difficult to understand your reasoning.

@Andrew Edwards Hi,
I understand how it looks, but I’m testing a real business scenario with constraints that don’t fully align with best practices. The increase in items was intentional to understand Jira Cloud’s limits and behavior, not to ignore earlier advice. I’m trying to find a workable alternative within those constraints and appreciate the feedback.
