I have Parallel Sprints defined in my product setup (next-gen) but I can't activate two sprints

I have Parallel Sprints defined in my product setup (next-gen) but I can't activate two sprints at the same time.  Any suggestions as to what steps I'm missing?  I get the error that I have to close the other active sprint when I try to start of my second sprint in parallel.

I don't believe parallel sprints is supported in NG as yet. Please see this issue for more - JSWCLOUD-17195

Well hopefully with near 750 votes, parallel sprints will be given a higher priority.  It will be too late for my project needs, so will just try to keep a view by assignee to keep the team members separated.
