I don't know why I'm not able to use "Jenkins for Jira" plugin to integrate Jenkins as I tried referring to official document of Jira and Jenkins Integration but after installing this plugin its giving an error that the Connection was reset. I tried looking up for an solution but was not able to find one. It would be great if you guys can help me with this. So I have even attached an screen shot of the issue what I'm facing.
Just let me know if this issue is because of free trail version. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but was not helpful. I'm not sure if it's because of any firewall protection because I'm not getting any Firewall message of blocking this.
I'm trying to do this to create a webhook but even while doing that directly from jira system management--Webhook but while adding my Jenkins "http://localhost:8080" its not allowing me to add this as it's showing an error that it only allows "https" so I wanted to know this too that will it be a problem with "Jenkins with jira" too or it will allow me to add my local host url?
@Ashutosh Singh You need to use a registered public IP or Domain. Since the Atlassian application is on the cloud and Jenkins is local there is no way for it to know where to connect.
