First, it’s important to know that accounts can’t be deleted from inside Jira, Confluence, or the Community directly. Atlassian accounts are managed centrally.
How to Delete Your Atlassian Account
Go to: https://id.atlassian.com
Log in with the account you want to delete.
Click Profile.
Scroll down and select Deactivate account.
Confirm the deactivation.
Note:
Deactivation permanently deletes your Atlassian account.
You will lose access to all Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.).
If the account is linked to an organization (managed account), you may not see the delete option.
If You Don’t See the Delete Option
If your account is managed by an organization (for example, a company domain), only the organization admin can delete or deactivate it.
In that case:
Contact your organization’s Atlassian admin.
Or raise a request directly with Atlassian Support at: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
If You Cannot Log In
If you can’t access the account:
Use the Forgot password option at the login page.
If you no longer have access to the email, contact Atlassian Support and provide proof of ownership.
