I cannot see the User Story Option

I am trying to create a User Story but in the dropdown menu with the types of issues I only have the following types:

Task

New Feature

Epic

Bug

Answer
Watch

The issue type scheme for your project does not have "user story" included, OR you've set up "user story" to be a sub-task type (which can only be created from inside other issues)
