I can't see the "comment" activity in Jira

Pedro Webster

I can't make any comments in Jira because the field is not visible to me (and anyone else). It is happening in just a specific project.

Btw, i am site admin user.

Hi @Pedro Webster,

It is possible that you don't have the add comments permission in that project. As an admin, you can check out what's wrong using the permission helper.

Type 'gg' and in the dialog that appears "Permission helper"

Select yourself as user, any issue in the project where you're having trouble and the Add comments permission. Hit submit and Jira will - hopefully - tell you what is wrong ...

Hope this helps!

Site admin is not the same as having a permission on the project.

I'd first suggest you take a look at the permission scheme of that specific project (since no-one can see it) and also look at the workflow step properties, it could be blocked by that too.
