I can share a board but nobody can see the content

I can share a board but nobody can see the content

I've made a board from a filter, I've shared both the board and the filter with specific colleagues, but when they access the board they see a widget but they can't see its contents. If they use the filter they can see that same content.

This is illogical. How do I solve this?

Hi @CONTENTI Valentina Filters and Dashboards are 2 separate entities in JIRA. They have their own permissions to view and edit. So if you created a filter and kept the view and edit options as Private (Default) then this will not let you see the contents on the dashboard. Likewise permissions to share needs to be set on the dashboard as well.

So please make sure you have set the permissions to the target audience (users/groups) in both the filter as well as the dashboard.

View Filters --> Select filter and edit the --> Provide permissions to view/edit

Likewise for your dashboard.
