I am trying to import data from team managed project to new company managed project.

I am trying to import data from team managed project to new company managed project. i am not sure if that will just import (Make copy of the data) or will move actual data.

If you are willing to try a third-party app, you can give our app Deep Clone for Jira a try. While Deep Clone can't convert team-managed projects to company-managed projects, it can clone all the issues inside the team-managed project to a new company-managed project.

@Prachi Bolar let me explain more in detail

we want copy data from software project ( Team -Managed  ) to  new  software Project (company Managed) .I am trying to import data to new project by going to create project ,and using import option as below. But the problem is that it is not giving me option to select project type and Jira project.  

The documentation you provided move the data which we do not want as we just want to keep old project ( as it is for record and giving read only access)

Is there any option for that.

Thank you for the details :) 

Currently, the new import system allows the below

- Copy data from the business project to jira software project and vice versa. We as of now cannot import data from software to software.
