I am trying to create a new kanban board in Jira. I have done this successfully previously. Now I am getting 

 - You do not have permission to share. All shares are invalid

- The user Gary Moran does not have permission to share. The owner has not been changed

Looking up this error I can see something about global permissions. But then I try to follow this up and I get  - You do not have access to Jira settings or Atlassian admin, contact your Jira admin to grant you access.

My God Jira is so hopelessly complex

@Gary Moran  It seems like you are missing "Create Shared Object" global permission. As this permission is only applied to "Groups" not to individual users so i believe you have been removed from group which had this permission.

Now you need to contact your Jira admin as i believe you do not have admin permission to your jira instance.
