I am looking to get an alert for when the start or end date for a version is updated

I want our users to have the ability the get notified (email, Slack, etc.) when the start date or end date for a version is updated.

This will allow us to automatically update stakeholders when updates relevant to them will be released or when release dates are changed.

Hi @Karan Khiani  -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There is no changelog data for the Version or Component yet, per some information in other posts from Atlassian folks.

You can at least see a version changed using built-in functions to create an automation rule which watches for any changes to a Version and notifies someone to review it:

• Trigger: version updated
• Action: send an email to review the version: {{version.name}}
