I have created a list of epics displaying most of the epic attributes. I need to display all the child stories for these epics . how can I display them in a column.

You would need a plugin for it. You can create a scripted custom field to show this info. You can create such a custom field with the Power Custom Fields plugin (free add-on) or the ScriptRunner plugin:
