Howto create a ticket with reporter (email) not in the system ?

Hi !

I though it will be easy to handle but I'm not able to find anything (for now) regarding this request.

Example :

  • we receive emails which are transformed in tickets, everything is under control, it creates the external unknown user as a new customer, the reporter is the email, ok !
  • we receive emails from our website (old contact form). The email is a system email address, so is the reporter. I want to modify this to the email address given in the content of the ticket, I copy paste it into the reporter field, nok : "reporter specified is not an user" !

I'm pretty sure I've already worked on another JSD instance where I was able to create new tickets as an agent and put an unknown email address in this field but after one hour of research on the web and in the configuration, I'm not able to understand how it was possible.

Any idea ?
