How to use vm file in issuewebpanel

Hi everyone,

I'm really new to JIRA environment and I have some problem with the use of vm file (in issuewebpanel). I would like to create a table that I successively want to populate with some data obtained from a database. Could you please link me some examples or well formed guides?
