How to update test case descriptions via Zephyr importer
I have a bunch of test cases already loaded in my JIRA and for about 200 of them I want to update the description from an Excel file.
I have tried to import this by setting the the following fields of Importer
Name = Name of Test Case
External ID = Name of Test Case
Issue Key = <JIRA ID>
Description = Description (Tired this in quotes and non quotes
After each import it says successful but the description is not there. I also checked to see if it created a new one JIRD ID by mistake and nope.
I tried again with the setting to be By Testcase Name Change
Name = Name of Test Case
Issue Key = <JIRA ID>
Description = Description (Tired this in quotes and non quotes
No luck. Does anyone have a way to do this ?
