We recently had a former developer come back; however his email address has changed. The only online documentation I found seems outdated - I am simply trying to update his e-mail (as an admin) but I can only "suggest an email change" which he'd have to verify via an email account he no longer has access to (different domain.) Is there any way to do this? He'd prefer not to have to have a new account created.

In my 8.2.1 I can change email for any user. In your case, maybe a simple REST API call would do a job
