How to setup VM where we need to install jira data center 8.13.22 on Azure for 5000 users.

Hi Team,

We need to setup 2 virtual machine on Azure for 5000 users. In this VM's we need to install Jira Datacenter 8.13.22. Can you please help us with the specification of Virtual machine like CPU's, Size, OS disk type. Please specify any other specification is needed.

Hi @Susmita Sahoo The system requirement of VM is based on the size of your current Jira instance like number of users, issue, projects, schemes (workflow, screens, issuetype, field configuration, etc) you can get this stats from the Jira system info page.

Based on the version 8.13.22 you can also check the supported platform details like what database you need to use and shared file system (Elastic file system)

As you are installing the Datacenter version of Jira with 2 nodes running then you also need a load balancer to redirect the traffic between these nodes, node local disk storage with good r/w iops are indexes are stored in local home so need good r/w speed to avoid any performance issues.
