How to see sprint-wise breakdown of an epic

In Jira server, we had an option to filter the backlog view of a scrum board based on an epic. It would show us all child tasks of that epic in a sprint-wise breakdown. 

On Jira-cloud, we do have the option to filter the backlog by an epic. But, this option doesn't show us issues in the result. In fact none of the epic issues are displayed in any of the sprint and even in the backlog.

Also you try to check if epics display is enabled in the Backlog view
