How to search unchecked boxes containing dates in the past.

Hello,

The current project has users creating checkboxs for their plans of action. Each checkbox should have a date within the text.

I am looking to do 2 things.

1. Create a search to find all unchecked checkboxes with dates in the past.

2. Set up automate to email the assigned when an unchecked checkbox has a date in the past.

I cannot use itemduedate due to the items not having a due date selector. 

Any help would be appreciated.
