We have default date fields that don't require quotes " " , such as resolved, which can be queried by resolved > 2023-04-01.  But we also have some custom date fields, such as "date:  started", and the > operative is not allowed.   How do we query custom date fields to retrieve dates beyond, before, or between certain dates within that custom "date: started" field?  Thanks!

Are your custom date fields definitely date (or date/time) fields?  Last time I saw this, they had added dates as strings.

Hello @Justin Walker

How are you executing your query? Are you in the "View all issues" screen? Are you using the Basic search or the JQL search? Are you getting an error message?

Can you provide us with a screen image of what you see?
