How to rotate the Tomcat catalina log file

Hi,

I have upgraded jira 7.3 to 8.3 in windows server but i do not know how to rotate catalina.out files please tell me how to do this one.

i know how to do in linux but windows is new to me.

out of the box this seems not to be possible, there is a KB article on that, describing to improve the situation

but

there is a tool named logrotatewin that offers a windows implementation of logrotate
