How to retrieve issue created/closed dates from Jira REST API

Have been searching through JIRA Rest APIs and wasn't able to find anything that would return me the value of the date created and the value of the date closed for an issue. Lets say I have an issueName or issueId, is there a way to retrieve that data?

You can get the date looking on the history (changelog) of an issue.
