How to replace a plugin in JIRA 5.2

Petya Tsvetanova Petrova
March 3, 2013

Hello,

I develop plugin which is integrated in your JIM plugin. However, we have JIRA version 5.2.7 installed and I see that JIM is a system plugin. It cannot be uninstalled like before. How can replace your JIM with mine? Or what should I do in that case?

Petya

UInder your JIRA installation you'll find a zip file

atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes/atlassian-bundled-plugins.zip

You will need to remove the bundled plugin from there. And reboot JIRA

Then you can upload your modified version as normal
