How to rename the "None" to "Please select" on select fields?

Hello everybody, how can I rename the "None" entry to "Please select" on select fields?

Hey Elke, have you come across this kb article : https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/How+to+Remove+'NONE'+from+a+Select+List+Custom+Field If i remember correctly, remove the none value should be kead to please select. Try in your test instance and see how it goes?
