How to rename the automated backup file in Jira

As by the Atlassian support, renaming the automated backup file is not supported yet.

We would like to have a solution as it works in Confluence, e.g. backup-confluence_EEEE (backup-confluence_Tuesday.zip)

Is there a way to do this in Jira?

Not without hacking the code at the moment. I am sure I've seen the request to make it work like Confluence's backup, and it's still open.
