How to rename an epic link?

One of my user wants to rename his epic link. How would that be done and he wants it to be changed for all the issues that has that epic link.

easy enough. go to the Epic and change the "Epic Name". That will be reflected in the "Epic Link" for all children.

but what if that field is not visible to me when I go to the epic (neither in the new nor the old issue view)?
