How to remove the Assign button from the issue screen

how can i remover the 'Assign' button from the following screen?

Hi,

I would like to leave it only as part of the workflow - were i have review and assign status,

how can i remove it from a specifiec issues : Bug, Feature and Improvement?

You can do it by removing the "Assign" permission from the user. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Managing+Project+Permissionsfor more details on how to change the project permissions.

or hide it on client with CSS if you want to remove it globaly for everyone.

removing Assign permission will also removing the ability to assign in the workflow, which may not be what we want here.

I think this has to be done as referred by this KB
