Hi teams,
Recently, during creating a new CB/ DB JIRA ticket, there is a noticeable typing delay when I enter words especially in Summary and Description setcion. Could you help to solve this problem, since it take more time and patience to complete filling the tickets?
Many thanks!
Regards,
Vanessa
Hello @Vanessa Tan
If you have any performance concerns, please ask your admin to raise a ticket with Atlassian Support.
Performance can also depend on your own setup, configuration, apps, browser, network, or instance size, so it is something Support needs to investigate properly.
You are currently posting in the Community forum, not contacting Atlassian Support directly.
Best,
Arek🤠
Thanks for your suggetion❤️, I will chat with the admin to check my setup at first.
Regards,
Vanessa

Hi @Vanessa Tan ,
On top of what Arkadiusz said, I'd recommend checking yesterday's announcement regarding the new Create experience: Introducing the new, streamlined Create experience in Jira 🆕
Apparently, introducing this will also improve loading times and general create UX, but we'll have to wait and see if what they're saying is true 😅
Cheers,
Tobi

Sure, your shared link is helpful👍. Some field is unnecessary, maybe it's time for me to hidden some unused fields.🤣

I also noticed this in the Confluence editor! When you start typing the title for a new page, there is a really annoying delay, and even worse, sometimes your keystrokes are lost.
I cannot prove it, but I reckon that this is due to AI. I mean the model is trying to figure out what your page will be about and predict the text you want to enter, and offer it for you.
