How to recover admin access

My site/org admins have departed without transfers and I need to reassign admin access to Jira.

this article mentions to contact Atlassian support for it:

• If you are already a billing or technical contact, create a support ticket to Cloud technical support here.

• If you are not yet a billing or technical contact, create a support ticket to the Customer Advocate support here.

Otherwise, if you're able to get access to the emails, you could try to reset the password for the former site/org admin - and then handover the permissions to you.
