How to reactivate a free plan cloud site?

Kent G

I have a cloud site on the free plan that I wasn't using for awhile and I want to start using it again. I went to it and got the "Your Atlassian Cloud site is currently unavailable" message.

I do not believe I'm able to enter a support ticket, because free plans don't allow that.

Is there a way to recover my site? At least the URL, even if not the content? And if so, how?

Thanks!

Hi @Kent G

Atlassian deactivates Free sites after 120 days of inactivity. Deactivated sites are stored for 60 days before permanent deletion. If within 60 days, they can restore the site. After 60 days, content is likely gone, but if the URL isn't claimed, you can create a new site with the same URL.

Even on a Free plan, I would contact the Billing and Licensing team here: https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/. They handle site deactivations and do not require a paid support tier.
