How to properly set permission for advanced roadmap?

qusai.bonie

Hi,

We just upgraded to jira premium to enable advanced roadmaps. I am a jira admin but when I click on Plans in the top navigation I can settings but I can't see create plan. I assume this is a permission issue. Is this a correct assumption? Any idea how to fix this issue?

Thank you!

Qusai

Hi @qusai.bonie

Under the plans tab you should see settings. There's a permission there for 'Advanced roadmap User' which will give you ability to create, view and edit plans. I think you're spot on, that should do it for you!

Thank you for responding to my question @Stuart Capel - London

I think my account was granted admin permissions individually not through the jira admin group which is why I was having this issue. I just tried assigning the all users security group to the 'Advanced Roadmap User' permission level and now I can create plans.

Thank you again for your help!
