we are trying to implement some custom logic over a custom field that should set specific value for that custom field on Create Dialog based on a configuration (for example for project XYZ set value ABC for a given custom field).
We've managed to get it to work in a way that it sets the default value for the first time you open the Create Dialog but once you start switching projects, change value in that field and go back to the previous project, it overwrites the predefined specific value with the value previously entered in a different project.
The behavior we are trying to achieve is that it should set specific value for a given custom field every time the project/issuetype is switched and it matches the given configuration and it shouldn't take into account the previously entered value.
Is there a way how to "switch off" or override this behavior?
