I would like to open the following Outlook link directly on the Jira Portal App as a Basic User.

With the following method (shortcut Basic) I can open the link over long press-share with Jira Teams in the Jira Teams app as a Agent User….

Has anyone an idea how I can do the same as a basic portal user?
Any shortcuts to be downloaded for iphone to handle that?
or just not possible?

Hi Martin,

Welcome to the community!

Looking at that you would want to follow the instructions for the basic edition. However if it isn't working then most likely not. Also keep in mind for basic users in general, if it isn't available it's most likely because for the average user from a UX perspective this would be way to many steps for them to configure. The average user isn't technical, and Apple Shortcuts while they can be shared, provide users with warnings that it could be potentially dangerous, which again to the average user is scary. So the recommended way from Apple is for each user to set the shortcut up themself for security purposes, though the average user has never used the shortcuts app.

So the short version is I would not be surprised if it doesn't work, as for the average user it would be outside of their comfort zone.

Best,

Clark
