How to move story into Epics

How can I change issue type from Story to an EPIC in bulk.

Hi @SANTOSH MARNE , have you tried the Bulk change option? You should choose the "Move" option for the operation.

As @Jack Brickey mentions have you tried the move option.

Bulk edit could work, but this would require that the same workflow is used for the issue types.

Hi @SANTOSH MARNE

In Jira, issue types cannot be directly changed from Story to Epic due to differences in structure and fields, such as the Epic Name field.

You have to find other options like "Create New Epics and Link Stories".

For instance, if you consider other options like

Converting Stories to Tasks (or other types) and then re-creating as Epics will also results in loss of Story-specific data.
