How to move JIRA from a Windows computer to a Linux installation

Our JIRA version is v4.4.4#664-r167664. We would like to move our current JIRA installation (Windows) to a new Linux installation.

Hello David,

If you choose to migrate the Content by using the XML Backup, the Operating System should not be a problem at all.
