How to modify Message Not a member? To request an account, please contact your Jira administrators

Hi Team,

Can someone let me know I can modify the welcome page login message saying that Not a member? To request an account, please contact your Jira administrators.

I want to modify that and want to display another message.

If you want to change the login gadget you need to modify the jar file that handles this. Have a look at this KB, Customize the login gadget in Jira server. Note that this is unsupported by Atlassian, so do it on your own risk. I would make the change in a test environment first to make sure it works.

Thank you for replying.  I was following the kb Customize the login gadget in Jira server

which you have advised it says that we can modify the message to login.soy file but I am unable to find this. Once I extract .jar file this file is not showing there. we are using jira V 8.

Can someone advise this?
