We want to migrate our cloud jira instance A to another cloud jira instance B. I have gone through the existing import and export utility provided by jira, but it seems to be limited on the resources it migrates. Like we have configurations like custom workflows, issue types, dashboards, filters, automation rules and more and i do not see that the import and export utility supports that(or i might have misinterpreted it). And the 3rd party tools like project configurator or atlassian inbuilt migration assistant seems to be providing support for migration from server/datacenter to cloud or another instance of server/datacenter but not between cloud instances.
1. Along with the data, we want to migrate the configurations. so is there any utility or 3rd party tool available for that?
2. After migration we will create new users for every respective user migrated from source. So is there a way to map the newly created users with old ones for filtering purposes.
3. Does the import and export utility creates projects in the destination instance if it does not exist. We need it to create as creating manually and mapping the issues to created projects seems to be an exhaustive task.
