How to mass change type and maintain links : when changing stories and subtasks TO Epics and stories

So i created a Epic, which contains stories and subtasks.

I want to change the "type" of the stories to epics. I want to change the subtasks connected to the stories into stories.

So i would end up with several Epics each with Stories. Instead of one Epic, with several stories which then have several subtasks. I would like to maintain the relationships that already exist, just bring it up one level in the heirarchy.

I saw there was some help related to this but it is all several years out of date.

I did try changing the types but the stories relating to the epics do not show up on my timeline.

Any help appreciated.

Hello @Robin Shaw , you need to use the bulk change possibility to move your tickets .

When you'll do it, you'll see this if you have the right permission of course.

So, be careful with the child issues and epics  to be sure that you move everything in the right place.
