We'd like to manage our recurring tasks (Recurring Tasks for Jira Cloud) via an API (preferably Python) to assist with employee succession and error handling. These don't appear to be `issues` and thus can't be searched via queries in any way I know of. Primarily we are looking to find recurring tasks and check that the owner and assignee is a valid user.
Is there a way to manage these via an API?
Is there an endpoint that we can query to get the data from: https://<your_domain>.atlassian.net/projects/<your_project>?selectedItem=com.gebsun.atlassian.rtasks-project-recurring-tasks
Thanks!
Hello @Sean Mann
Are you referring to the app from Gebsun? If so, you would be better off using the Apps and Integration channel and that product's dedicated tag to ask questions about that specific product, as that company is probably monitoring that channel + tag.
I just casually browsed the product documentation and it doesn't seem any REST API endpoints for managing its 'tasks'. It looks like a totally GUI based app.
If in doubt, ask Gebsun directly.
Thank you! I didn't realize it was an app. I doubt there's a way to get info via REST then.
